The back is made from lightweight breathable material that will allow heat and moisture to escape while you're chasing breakaway success on race day even as the front offers impressive protection from the elements. Infused with a water-resistant and completely windproof DWR treatment it will keep you warm and dry on the great majority of spring and autumn days. The real joy of this vest is that it can be packed down then compressed using the elastic closure loop. You'll then have the choice of hanging it from your bike bag or zipper pull with the same loop or stowing it in your jersey pocket. Either way you can bring it 'just in case' so that whatever the weather brings you'll be able to cycle in comfort. Add in two back pockets and a large super-light mesh chest pocket that will hold your gloves gels and other sundries and you have a light protective vest that you'll never want - or need - to be without.
