The original Big Trail concept was the result of a few UK dealers discussing the ideal UK trail bike with the Merida R&D chief - simple: 140mm air fork, 29 wheels, 1 x transmission and a dropper post. Now in its 2nd iteration Big Trail is a fun-packed and hugely capable trail bike. Its progressive geometry combines a steep 76.5° seat angle with a slack 64.0° head angle giving great climbing characteristics and plenty of stability when the terrain gets steep or rough.Sizing follows the Agilometer principle which means most sizes work for most body sizes so that riding style can be factored in. If you want to go fast, take the longer size, for agility, take a shorter size.

All bikes are built instore and pdi'd before carefully boxing up for shipping. Please be aware that some assembly would be required, although we do try to limit the amount as best we can.

Pick up from store
If you choose to collect the bike from store, you will be entitled to a free basic bike fit. This will ensure your new bike will fit you perfectly and you'll be comfortable on your first ride! We will notify you via email to confirm collection / bike fit dates.
Returns (refunds and exchanges)
If you are unhappy with your item, please let us know. Our Returns Policy gives you 30 days to return or exchange an item bought with a valid receipt. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a refund or exchange, goods must be returned in a re-saleable condition. That means your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. The item must be in the original packaging and returned with any accessories, labels and “free gifts” or bonus items.
