Carbon tarmac endurance bike with 2 x 12 Shimano Ultegra Di2, electronic shifting and Vision carbon wheelset
Positioned between Silex and Scultura in the Merida road range the Scultura Endurance is aimed at tarmac adventure riding with geometry designed for riders who want to enjoy long hours in the saddle while being comfortable and relaxed on the bike.The modern comfort-orientated geometry endows the Scultura Endurance with a longer head tube creating a more upright and comfort-orientated seating position. The slacker head angle and slightly longer wheelbase give the bike more stability at speed. To increase frame stiffness and steering precision the Scultura Endurance uses 12mm bolt through axles and a full carbon tapered fork.Theres plenty of tyre clearance (up to 35c, or 32c if you fit mudguards), larger volume tyres can be run at lower pressures to provide more comfort even on pothole littered lanes.Merida have used plenty of neat touches such as routing shifting and brake cables through the headset to declutter the cockpit. Even the seat clamp is hidden and the rear seat stay bridge can be removed if it isnt used to mount mudguards.All Scultura Endurance (except are 200) have powerful hydraulic disc brakes. Calipers are flat mounted for a neat, flush fit on CNC'd aluminium Disc Cooler fins which reduce operating temperatures by up to 35%.
Every bike purchased from On It Sports is built in-store by our experienced team and undergoes a full pre-delivery inspection (PDI) before being carefully prepared for shipping.
We take pride in ensuring each bike leaves our workshop properly assembled, checked, and ready for final setup, helping you enjoy a smooth and confident first ride.
Some final assembly will be required on delivery, but we aim to keep this to a minimum wherever possible.
