The breathable Castelli Tempesta Lite Jacket punches above its weight when it comes to weather protection. Despite weighing just 166g and fitting into half a jersey pocket, it will fend off the British rain thanks to its construction from waterproof GORE-TEX® fabric.
A waterproof YKK® Vislon® zip, taped seams and internal wrist gaiters further bolster its credentials. The latter ensure this jacket will integrate with your cycling gloves, sealing the wrists to stop drops from rolling down them. The GORE-TEX® fabric is also windproof and breathable, so it will serve you well in gusty weather or on a long downhill.
Air circulation is further encouraged by the use of windproof GORE-TEX® Topo stretch fabric on the lower back, which will expand to allow a cake stop and accommodate any spares you're carrying in your jersey. As a bonus, this waterproof jacket includes reflective tape down the back of both sleeves to keep you safe and visible, should your winter ride run long.
